It was great to see everyone at the Pre-Registration sign-ups Saturday. I am ready for the season to start!!!
I went to Inside Track on Saturday and Josh reminded me of 2 great things - The Ventura 1/2 Marathon & 5K fun Run, Feb 3. with a portion of the proceeds to be donated to the family of the CHP officer that was involved in an awful accident last December.
The other thing was the Ventura Tigres Special for 10% off with the flyer you hopefully picked up at registration. Thanks for all of your support Josh and Inside Track we are lucky to have a full service Running Store in our City!!!
We will have more information about open registrations and coaching assignments during the week.

Bantam Coaches
At the coaches meeting last night the bantam coaches were announced they are: Debra Launius, Tim Malloy, Lisa Christenson, and Andrew VanConas. Bantams will practice on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Field events will be mixed in during each practice.

We welcome you to the Ventura Tigres Track Club, part of the Ventura County Youth Track Club. We look forward to working with you all to make this 2008 the best season yet.

This is a 100% volunteer organization. Your participation is crucial!
A few key events to pay attention to:
- Letters with pre-registration information are going out to those that fulfilled their volunteering duties in 2007. Watch the mail.
- Sign-ups for those who receive packets in the mail (for those who fulfilled their volunteering duties last year) are on Saturday, January 26th at Anacapa Middle School at 9:00am. Only those on the pre-registration list will be allowed to register that day. No exceptions.
- Sign-ups for NEW runners, or for those who did not fulfill their volunteering duties will be on Saturday, February 2nd at 9:00am at Anacapa Middle School . This is a first-come, first-served basis only, until all spots are filled.
- Fees are $90 for the first child, $80 for each additional child.
- More information will be given out at sign-ups.
