Hello Parents –
First of all, what a great weekend of competition from all of our athletes that participated in the Youth Invitational Meet this past weekend. Each year this meet has brought out the best in our athletes and this weekend was no different. Many personal records were set, and a good number of the athletes were able to get on the podium!
We will be hosting the Ojai Roadrunners this upcoming weekend. Meet sign ups will be available at practices today and Wednesday. If your athlete has been considering trying a new event, this meet or the following meet would be the time to try it – athletes cannot try a new event at the Conference Finals (more on this meet, and the VCYTC championships later).
There are only two regular season meets left in the season. If you’d like to see where your athlete ranks in their events, check out the VCYTC Top 20 Rankings by going to the Meet Results page on the Tigres website, then click on the corresponding age category under “2018 VCYTC Top Marks”.
It’s been a great season so far! We can’t wait to watch your athletes hit the track again this weekend!
