The last meet of the year before our Championship meets (JV and Varsity Finals) saw some unbelievable performances with 39 more PR’s.

More importantly, it was great to see the great sportsmanship and team camaraderie our Youth and Intermediate team displayed.  Our Tigres cheered each other on, showed concern for injured teammates, sacrificed personal goals to help teammates reach theirs and even picked up trash on the field after the 4×400 relays – they showed what being part of the Tigres team is all about.

We had only two athletes get Varsity marks this meet – Maize Anders (1600) and Connor Stevenson (100).  It doesn’t sound all that impressive until you consider that we now have 22 athletes with Varsity marks and it looks like we may end up with over 50 athletes competing at the Varsity finals when petitions and relays are considered – that is more than half the team!!!

Great job to all the athletes.  We can’t wait to see what you have in store for us at the JV and Varsity finals!
