Parents-
When you have time please look at the information for tomorrows meet located on the main page for Ventura Tigres. The address is https://www.venturatigres.org. There is quite a bit of vital information as well as an attached pdf regarding parking and rules for tomorrows meet. Also, please note that the date for our end of season picnic is May 17th.
It is my understanding that athletes will have a tent on the field and will be located there for the duration of the meet. No parents will be allowed on the field. There is no eating on the field and water is the only liquid. The hope is that with all athletes on the field there will be room for all spectators in the limited space being provided.
I will try to have coaches stationed at the entrance and exit of the field if you need to speak to your athlete.
To reiterate the main page post, please have patience tomorrow. As a parent of a Tigre athlete, I understand that you want the most success for your athlete. As a coach, I want the most success for ALL participating Gremlins. This has been such an amazing season and I just want everything to end positively.
Lastly, I want the athletes participating in early events at the track by 8am. PLEASE do not be late. With 4 total teams participating there is no guarantee of holding up an event for a late athlete. I am looking forward to tomorrow and can’t wait to see everyone!!
