This weekend is the JV Finals and next weekend (May 10) is Varsity Finals. These two meets are the championships for the VCYTC. To participate in the Varsity Finals, you must qualify based on time. To see who has qualified for Varsity Finals, please see the following:
The list is sortable, so if you click on the clubs column header it will sort by club. You can scroll down to the Tigres and see the list of qualified athletes.
JV Finals is open to all athletes who are not going to be competing in that event at Varsity Finals. There is no qualification requirement for JV Finals.
If you are participating in Varsity Finals in an event, you can NOT compete in that event at the JV Finals. You can compete at both meets as long as you follow the rules of 4 events maximum (both meets combined), with no more than 3 running events (the 4×4 is a free event and does not count towards this number).
I know this can be a very confusing situation, especially for new families, so please do not hesitate to call me (650-678-3581) or email to youth@venturatigres.org with any questions.
Please have athletes sign up for their JV events no later than practice on Thursday. There is no need to sign up for Varsity because it is pre seeded and the event entries are already done.
JV Finals is at Oxnard High School this Saturday (May 3) and Varsity Finals is at Moorpark High School on May 10th.
