We wil be sending 4×100 and 4×400 teams for both boys and girls to the Conference Championships this weekend. We also have a boys 4×400 and girls 4×400 that competed this past weekend at the League Finals that have a strong chance of moving on to the Co-Conference Championship on May 13th at Ventura High School.
To determine what relay teams move on to the Co-Conference Championships on May 13th, all of the times (in the Midget age group) from the League Finals East and West (where we competed) from this past Saturday and the times from this coming weekend’s Conference Championship are combined. The top 4 team times in both the 4×100 and 4×400 relay between the League Finals and the Conference Championship automatically qualify to move on to the Co-Conference Championship. The faster of the 5th place relay team’s time between the VCYTC’s Conference Championship and the SCYTFC’s Conference Championship will then move on to compete in the Co-Conference Championship.
If there are any athletes listed on Conference Championship relay teams that can not make it to both the meets on May 6th and May 13th, please let me know. If there are any athletes listed on the “Potential Co-Conference Relay teams that can not make it on May 13th, please let me know. We will be having practice as usual for all of these athletes for the next week as described in this post:
