Ready or not, the first meet is here! We can’t wait to see what our Midget team can do. We are competing against the Ojai Roadrunners and this meet starts at 1:00 pm instead of the normal 8:30 am. I would expect the meet to finish somewhere around 7ish. If an athlete is competing in the 3200, hurdles or 4×100 relays, please be there by 12:00 so we can get settled, find event stickers, get warmed up and into staging.
This is our first meet, so when estimating when events could go off, be on the early side. It takes some time to get the rhythm of the order of events and what time they will go off.
Please also remember to reinforce good sportsmanship (shaking hands when done competing, not celebrating or moping, etc).
The day is supposed to start out warm, but will likely turn cold quickly, so please be prepared for all weather. Lots of warm clothes and once again – EVERYTHING LABELED!
Athletes who have signed up for relays – we are counting on you being there! If something comes up, please let us know as early as possible.
