Please join us for the final week of practice this week before the JV West meet this Saturday, May 2 at Newbury Park High School (not Thousand Oaks High School as previously advertised.)
As a reminder, ALL athletes are eligible to compete in the JV Meet unless your athlete secured a spot in the Varsity meet on May 9 at Buena High School. Please click here to read more about the post season rules. Feel free to contact your division head coaches with questions.
After this week most athletes will have completed their season and will no longer have practice. We will look forward to celebrating a great season with them at the annual team picnic on Sunday, May 17 from noon to 3 pm at Buena High School Quad.
The Varsity meet on May 9 at Buena High School is the final home meet left of the season, which will have athletes competing from all the teams in VCYTC (Ventura County Youth Track Conference). Even if your athlete is not competing in the Varsity meet you are still required to work a shift at this meet. Please plan that this meet may not end until 3 or 4 pm. Volunteer shifts may be extended to accommodate this timing.
Reminder — All Tigres families are required to work a total of five volunteer shifts throughout the season. Fulfilling your volunteer requirement by volunteering at all our Tigres home meets qualifies you for Priority Registration for the 2027 season!
If you have questions about your volunteer role or need to make up a missed shift, please contact one of the Volunteer Managers:
- Richelle Bart at richellebart@aol.com or
- Michelle Quagliata at michelle_burd@yahoo.com
Thank you for your dedication to Ventura Tigres!
Go Tigres!
